American Community Survey (ACS) Central Arkansas County-Level Household Demographics 2000-2009
This table gives estimates of population, households, occupancy, average household size and more for the four largest counties in central Arkansas, with overall U.S. data for comparison. These estimates differ from Metroplan's official estimates published annually in the Demographic Review and Outlook.
Central Arkansas County-Level Basic Economic Statistics 2000-2009
This table gives basic economic measures for the region's largest counties, including per capita income, median household income, share of population in poverty, and educational attainment. It gives the same figures for the Little Rock-North Little Rock-Conway MSA and the U.S.A. for comparison.
Population by Race Data for Central Arkansas Counties 2000-2009 This table gives population by race from Census 2000, with ACS estimates for 2008. The table includes Faulkner, Lonoke, Pulaski, and Saline Counties, along with the six-county LR-NLR-Conway MSA and the USA for comparison.
Population by Race Data for Central Arkansas Cities Over 20,000 population in 2008 This table gives population by race from Census 2000, with ACS three-year estimates for 2006-2008. The table includes the cities of Benton, Cabot, Conway, Jacksonville, Little Rock, North Little Rock and Sherwood. The Little Rock data is a one-year estimate from the 2008 ACS.
Population of Central Arkansas Counties and Incorporated Cities 1900-2010 Population of Central Arkansas Counties and Incorporated Cities 1900-2010 This file gives county total population for Faulkner, Lonoke, Pulaski and Saline Counties for each decade from 1900 through 2010. It also gives the population of incorporated cities for the same period.
City and County Employment by Place of Work 1990-2000
This table shows the number of workers by city in 1990 and 2000 for the six counties and the largest nine incorporated cities in central Arkansas. It also shows employment changes from 1990 to 2000.
